Please join us for a weekend of orienteering in Red Top Mountain State Park. This is a 2-day event. You can register for both days, or you can register for either day separately.
Starts are from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Beginner instruction at 10:00 am. All courses close at 3 pm, and controls are picked up.
To make sure we have enough maps and save time on the day, please pre-register. Fees are $7 for members, $10 for non-members for each day. E-punch rental is $3 for each day.
Saturday will be based on the east side of the park offices (old lodge). Anne and Steve are meet directors.

GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
From Atlanta, go north on I-75 and take exit 285. Turn right onto Red Top Mtn Rd and follow into Park. Once in the park, follow the orange and white "Orienteer" signs to the different start location each day.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to participate in any GAOC event, ALL youths under the age of 18 MUST present a
Waiver of Responsibility that has been signed by their own Parent
or Legal Guardian. It is NOT sufficient that the Waiver of Responsibility be signed by any other adult such as a scout leader, coach,

for them.
