The BubbaGoat returns to the club where it started! If you have never done one, you are in for a treat.
The BubbaGoat is a mass start long event with some special rules. Following is allowed, and you may skip any 2 controls. Also, if you can do the entire race while wearing overalls, you get 10 minutes off your time! There will be a long version, a short version, and a mini version, with a 2 hour time limit for all. The mini version can only skip 1 control.
We will be at the boat ramp picnic area, picnic shelter #2, at Chattahoochee Bend, and will be visiting the Heard County section of the park - we have not been down there since the US Long Champs in 2012. There are no trails in that area, so it should be a challenge.
Long BubbaGoat: ~9km - mass start at 11AM - skip two controls
Short BubbaGoat: ~7km - mass start at 11AM - skip two controls
Mini BubbaGoat: ~5km - mass start at 11AM - skip one control
White Course
Yellow Course
The white and yellow courses will be on the river and campground trails. They will be run in the normal way, open until 1PM for starts.

From I-85 North or South near Newnan, take Exit 47 Hwy. 34 (Bullsboro Blvd.). Go west .8 miles. Turn right onto Hwy. 34 Bypass (M Farmer Industrial Blvd.) and go 6 miles. Turn right onto Hwy. 34 (Franklin Road) at 4-way stop and go 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Thomas Powers Road and go 2.7 miles to a 4-way stop. The road name changes to Hewlett South Road. Continue straight .9 miles. Continue straight onto Bud Davis Road and go 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Flat Rock Road. The road name changes to Bobwhite Way. Continue straight to gated entrance of the park.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
