Join us at Tugaloo State Park, on Lake Hartwell, Georgia, on Saturday, April 30, for a day of "classic" orienteering courses in a very open forest. We'll be meeting at shelter #7, near the open beach with plenty of parking. Partly sunny weather in the low 80's is forecast, optimum conditions for the sport.

GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
I-85 to Lavonia Exit #173. Turn north over the interstate. After 1/4 mile turn right (across from the Pizza Hut) and follow park signs 7 miles to the park.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
