The parking at the meet this Sunday (Palisades East-Upper Lot) will be tight, it is a popular dog-walking park, so there will be competition for spaces. We have permission from the Park Ranger to do some additional parking outside the parking lot.
Buses park on right on paved road BEFORE moving into the park -- 600 meters to start. I doubt the buses will have too much luck turning around in the full parking lot, so not heading down that road is the best option.
Come early or late, and car pool. You CANNOT park along the road to the upper parking lot. Over-flow parking in lower lot (1km). See the map below for instructions on getting to the lower lot, basiscally, right out of the upper lot drive onto Northside Dr., right on Harris Trail, right on Whitewater Trail, then right into the lower parking lot. Then you'll have to jump on the trail and walk up to the Start.
From I-285 on the North side of Atlanta, take exit 22 and go South on Northside Dr. Go 1.75 miles to Indian Trail, then right to park. See directions above for alternate parking.
