Climb is minimal since Joe Kurz is fairly flat. The fields are wide open with lots of yellow on the map.
The weather will been great, so bring a picnic and enjoy the day. There are no restaurants close to the event site.
The Joe Kurz area is known for briars, so wear long pants or a pair of gaiters.
From Atlanta, South on I-75 to exit 237A, GA Hwy 85 (not I-85). Follow GA-85 South for approx. 40 miles to Gay, Georgia. Left at the only red light in Gay. Go 2.5 miles, then left into check in station.
