Orienteering weather is here! The woods are opening up and the hills seem less steep. Come join us at Palisades East, so close, you can not skip it.
Danny Walker has set the courses, and will offer some good old fashion orienteering, testing our minds and our bodies. You will even get some specialty training... a thumb work out, mashing those punches -- NO Epunch.
Andreas said this was one of our prettiest parks... so close by!
Please carpool... we always have a parking crunch at this park.
Buses MUST not enter gravel road to park. Buses MUST drop kids off on paved road. NO PARKING WHATSOEVER on gravel road. Parking is too tight to allow bus turnaround.
UPDATE: We have arranged with the Sandy Springs Police to park busses on Indian Trail Road, OUTSIDE the park. Turn buses around and drop off, at the park gate. Please take care not to disturb the neighbors.
From I-285 on the North side of Atlanta, take exit 22 and go South on Northside Dr. Go 1.75 miles to Indian Trail, then right to park.
