This event will go on rain or shine. This park is a hidden gem. The woods are mostly wide open and the terrain is the perfect blend of hills and flats. The only downside is the parking situation.
The main parking lot for the park is going to be completely packed (at least they fixed the sink hole :). We will be having the registration in the main parking lot but most people are going to have to park down the street. We have arranged to allow parking at Sope Creek Elementary School which is about 800 meters West of the park. ALL BUSES MUST USE THIS LOT as there is zero room to even turn around in the main parking lot. From the school, there is a nice sidewalk all the way to the park.

Buses must not even pull into the main lot.
From Atlanta, I-75 N to I-285 East. Take exit #24 and go North on Riverside Dr. to Johnson Ferry Rd. Turn NW (left), cross the river and turn west (left) at second traffic light, Paper Mill Rd. Cross the creek and go 0.5 miles, turn south (left) into parking lot.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. Parking fee is only required if you park on the park property. Parking at Sope Creek Elementary is free. E-chip rental is required if you are running Yellow through Red and you do not own your own stick.

Despite the courses being closer to middle distance, the terrain and navigation are quite challenging. Expect to spend a normal amount of time on each course.
