Come out to Sweetwater for a great day of Orienteering. Start and finish will be at Shelter #7, which is right next to the main visitor center. There are a total of 46 flags waiting to be found spread out on 5 courses, all with e-punch.
From Atlanta, west on I-20 to exit 44. South on Thornton Rd. Right on Blairs Bridge Rd. Left on Mt Vernon. Follow signs to Park.

GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners then may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the course by 3pm.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
