Anne and I hope to see a lot of folks Sunday, September 14th, at Sweetwater. The woods are fairly open and runnable. I have been setting and vetting in shorts. I do want to mention that areas marked with green lines indicating undergrowth seem thicker than they did during the last GNC.
We will be based at picnic shelter 11 and using the west side of the park.
E-punching will be used on all courses, and online registration is available by clicking here. Please use the online registration system to avoid lines at the start.
Here is the breakdown of available courses:
White, 2.1km, 10 controls, 50 meters of climb
Yellow, 2.9km, 13 controls, 100 meters of climb
Orange, 4.1km, 13 controls, 150 meters of climb
Brown, 3.4km, 11 controls, 110 meters of climb
Green, 4.4km, 13 controls, 150 meters of climb
Red, 5.0 km, 12 controls, 200 meters of climb
Be sure to bring insect repellent. We have had a lot of ticks on us.
See y'all in the woods...
Anne and Steve
