A brand new map in a brand new State Park - don't miss this opportunity to experience a new area! There's plenty of room to run, very few trails, and the terrain is interesting and challenging. The park is on Lake Lanier north of Gainesville.
We will be in picnic shelter #4, near the beach. White through red courses. The white and yellow courses will follow a paved trail for part of their course - you can almost do the whole course without getting your shoes dirty!

GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
Directions to the park from the DNR web page go out of their way to go too far north.
Suggested alternate directions below consist of only a short stretch of gravel road:
Take 985 to Gainesville
Take exit 24 (to US 129N)
Right on Limestone Pkwy (129N) at McDonalds
Right on Clarks Bridge Road
after 4.8 miles, right on B. Clark Road (gravel - changes to paved)
at dead end, right on N Browning Road into park.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
