Use the main entrance to the park, obtain the $5 parking pass, head toward the Beach area and turn right to picnic shelter #5. Or, follow the "O" signs.
The power/pipe lines have been mowed this year so running the confusing array of open ground should be a highlight of this event. Tough courses to get ready for the National Championships at the Flying Pig in KY the following weekend.
Standard format and courses this weekend:
White: Beginner (1.5 - 2.5km)
Yellow: Beginner (2.5 - 3.5km)
Orange: Intermediate (3.5 - 4.5km)
Brown: Advanced (4.0 - 5.0km)
Green: Advanced (4.5 - 6.0km)
Red: Advanced (5.0 - 7.5km)
Registration opens at 0900hrs
Instruction and first starts at 1000hrs
Last start at 1300hrs
Epunch will be required so sign up for a rental if you (shame) don't have one.
Preregistration and payment mandatory (to let our volunteers orienteer for a change).
GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.

From Atlanta, take I-85 North to GA Hwy 316 East and go approx. 21 miles to GA Hwy 81. Go North on Hwy 81 for approx. 3 miles to park entrance on right.
