Anne and I hope you all can join us for the final race of the season. Can't wait to see what dishes we have for the pot luck lunch. We will be using picnic shelter #3. Lunch is noon till 2pm; the Annual General Meeting is 2pm-3pm.
The woods are really filling out and navigation is getting more challenging. I can even see a distinct change in the last week. There are still wild flowers blooming and the woods are beautiful. The mountain laurels are blooming and trillium are too.
It looks like we are going to have a warm weekend, so my plan, emphasis on "plan", is to have orange and above ready by 10am. I hope to be ready even earlier, but cannot promise that. The courses are physically demanding so an early start would be a good idea.
Please use the online registration if possible to make your day easier and to lessen the load on the volunteers.

GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am
and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
Local meet starts from 11 am to 1 pm as usual.
Pot luck lunch from Noon till 2pm.
Annual General Meeting from 2 to 3pm.
From Atlanta, west on I-20 to exit 44. South on Thornton Rd. Right on Blairs Bridge Rd. Left on Mt Vernon. Follow signs to Park. We will be located at picnic shelter #3.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
