IMPORTANT! Online pre-registration and pre-payment is REQUIRED: This because the venue is so far removed from our volunteer base that we won't have the personnel to take registrations, money, signatures, etc. Online registration will be open until 9:30am Saturday. This GAOC event at Tugaloo State Park, near Lavonia, is on a new map and the first we've had on Lake Hartwell.
Open forest with very little "Green", lots of roads, trails and rides to cross. Gullies are not a dominate feature here but steep reentrants and rootstocks are.

*The Adventure trail race is for those wanting some trail running time and practice reading the map on the run. Map reading will be required to keep up with terrain features as well deciding the next turn at trail junctions. The course will not be marked on the ground but controls shall be taken in order. Road crossing and some intricate road running will be part of the course.
Running more than one course will only require a $3 map fee in addition to first course entry fee.
GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
I-85 to Lavonia Exit #173. Turn north over the interstate. After 1/4 mile turn right (across from the Pizza Hut) and follow park signs 7 miles to the park.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
