Join us this Sunday, Oct. 4th at F D Roosevelt State Park. Start and finish will be at Picnic Shelter #2 below Lake Deleanor dam.

NO BEGINNER INSTRUCTION WILL BE OFFERED. Regular White, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green, Red and Blue courses will be offered.
Participants must select their start times when registering, with starts available from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Time limit is 3-hours for all courses; all participants must be off all courses by 3:00pm.

Notes:

  1. Participants may only participate in ONE course.
  2. In accordance with GAOC Covid Guidelines, there will be no equipment rental of any kind for the event. Water will NOT be provided on any course. Participants must bring their own compass, e-stick, whistle, and water. A few e-sticks are available for purchase on our merchandise page.
  3. Participants will be started promptly at their selected start time. So that we comply with limits on the number of people at the park at the same time, please arrive at the parking area no earlier than 20 minutes before your start time, and leave the parking area within 15 minutes of finishing your course. To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure to be at the start on time.

To maintain the health and safety of all participants and volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic, GAOC is implementing special rules for event participants. Please review and follow the GAOC Pandemic Rules. Pre-paid preregistration is required. (Registration will open for our volunteer meet directors at 7:00pm on Monday, September 28th, and will open for other volunteer coupon holders at 8:00pm on Monday, September 28th. Registration will open to everyone at 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 29th.) No paper forms or payments will be accepted on-site.

Volunteers needed

Event volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Each volunteer is awarded a coupon that may be used for free (and early) event registration or items from our merchandise page.

We only need help with Search and Rescue (SAR) - please select your volunteer position as SAR COORDINATOR on the registration page.

I-85 South to exit 21. South on I-185 to exit 42. Left on US 27 to Pine Mt., then left on GA 354 to the park.
