Join GAOC at Fort Yargo State Park on Sunday, November 1^st. We will be using picnic shelter #5 as the meet headquarters. Some of the lighter green has died back and is a little easier to run through. However, the green slash is still very thick and you may want to avoid it.

Notes:

1. Participants may only participate in ONE course.
2. In accordance with GAOC Covid Guidelines, there will be no equipment rental of any kind for the event. Water will NOT be provided on any course. Participants must bring their own compass, e-stick, whistle, and water. A few e-sticks are available for purchase on our merchandise page.
3. Participants will be started promptly at their selected start time. So that we comply with limits on the number of people at the park at the same time, please arrive at the parking area no earlier than 20 minutes before your start time, and leave the parking area within 15 minutes of finishing your course. To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure to be at the start on time.

To maintain the health and safety of all participants and volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic, GAOC is implementing special rules for event participants. Please review and follow the GAOC Pandemic Rules.

Pre-paid preregistration is required. (Registration will open for coupon holders only at 8:00pm on Monday, October 26^th. Registration will open to everyone at 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 27^th.) No paper forms or payments will be accepted on-site.

There will be no equipment rental of any kind for the event. Water will NOT be provided. Participants must bring their own compass, e-punch fingerstick, and water.

Courses

Volunteers needed

Event volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Each volunteer is awarded a coupon that may be used for free (and early) event registration or items from our merchandise page.

Schedule

Runners must select their start time when pre-registering, and will be started promptly at their selected start time. First start is at 9:00am, last start is at 1:00pm, with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off all courses by 3:00pm.

Directions

From Atlanta, take I-85 North to GA Hwy 316 East and go approx. 21 miles to GA Hwy 81. Go North on Hwy 81 for approx. 3 miles to entrance on right. The park address is 210 S Broad St, Winder, GA 30680.
