Last meet of the Spring Season! Last chance to orienteer until September!

Sam designed the courses so that every control can be reached by running in the fields and on the trails, with just a little dip into the woods. That might not be the fastest option, but you can avoid the Poison Ivy, ticks and chiggers, and even wear shorts!

Start times will be from 10 to noon. Register early!

To maintain the health and safety of all participants and volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic, GAOC is implementing special rules for event participants. Please review and follow the GAOC Pandemic Rules. Pre-paid preregistration is required. (Registration will open for our volunteer meet directors at 7:00pm on Monday, May 10^th, and will open for other volunteer coupon holders at 8:00pm on Monday, May 10^th. Registration will open to everyone at 9:00pm on Monday, May 10^th.) No paper forms or payments will be accepted on-site.

Notes:

1. In accordance with GAOC Covid Guidelines, pre-paid preregistration is required, and there will be no equipment rental of any kind for the event. Water will NOT be provided on any course. Participants must bring their own compass, e-stick, whistle, and water. A few e-sticks are available for purchase on our merchandise page.
2. Everyone attending the meet MUST wear masks while within 50 meters of the start and finish area. Participants may remove their masks when they start their course, but must replace their mask when they finish, and must move out of the finish area as soon as they have downloaded and taken their splits printout.
3. Participants will be started promptly at their selected start time. So that we comply with limits on the number of people at the park at the same time, please arrive at the parking area no earlier than 20 minutes before your start time, and leave the parking area within 15 minutes of finishing your course. To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure to be at the start on time.
4. Participants may only participate in ONE course.

Directions

From Atlanta, go west on I-20 to exit 34, then south on GA 5 to Whitesburg. Go 2 miles past Whitesburg, then turn left on W. McIntosh Circle. The address is 1046 W McIntosh Cir, Whitesburg, GA 30185.
