Join GAOC at Sweetwater Creek State Park on Sunday, December 19th. We will be using the east side of the park for this event.

Enter park using the main park entrance on Mt Vernon Rd. Take the second left (at the 4-way intersection), and park at the Group Shelter. There will be a 900m walk too the start which is located at the bridge across Sweetwater Creek. Finish will be next to the Group Shelter.

The east side of the park is especially hilly so be prepared for some climb, but the woods are beautiful and open with some wonderful orienteering. I especially like the south end of the map where the Red and Green courses spend some time in a beautiful, long creek valley.
