The Night-O will have a mass start at 7:30 Saturday evening. Enter Dauset Trails at the bike trail parking lot and drive back the gravel road to Pavilion #2.
The event is a score-o with 25 controls. Get as many as you can in any order within the 90 minute time limit. Controls 1-5 make up a nice beginner's course for those with limited experience.
Controls are worth 4 points each, so max score is 100. Overtime penalty is 1 point per minute until 15 minutes, after which you are disqualified.
Maps will be handed out in an orderly fashion at 7pm, so there should be plenty of time to plan your strategy. Don't start your course before we give the go signal!
Event volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Each volunteer is awarded a coupon that may be used for discounted (and early) event registration or items from our merchandise page.
I-75 to exit 198, High Falls Road. Turn east and go 4.6 miles, then turn right onto Mt Vernon Church Road. Go 3.2 miles on Mt Vernon Church Road to the bike trail parking lot on the left. Dauset Trail's address is 360 Mt Vernon Church Rd, Jackson, GA 30233.
