Come on out to Dauset Trails on Saturday, Nov 1, to help recover from your Halloween hangover. It's the annual night orienteering event. We will also have a daytime event for those who don't want to try the night orienteering.

Both events are score courses that have 25 controls of varying point value. Difficulty ranges from beginner to advanced, so all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Getting all the controls within the 90-minute time limit will yield 116 points. Failure to finish within the time limit will result in a 1 point/minute penalty. Finishing more than 15 minutes late will result in disqualification.

The day event will have start times from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. The night event will have a mass start at 7:30pm. As always, preregistration and prepayment will be required.

We will be at Pavilion #2. Enter through the bike trail parking lot and follow the road back to the pavilion.

No beginner instruction class will be offered. If you need help with instruction, please contact the meet director.

Volunteers needed

Event volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Each volunteer is awarded a coupon that may be used for discounted (and early) event registration or items from our merchandise page.

If you are interested in helping out at the start, the finish, search and rescue, or control pickup, please select your volunteer position(s) on the registration page or contact the meet director.

Schedule

Runners must select their start time when pre-registering, and will be started promptly at their selected start time. Maps for the Nite-O will be handed out beginning around 7:20pm, but do not look at the map until the mass start at 7:30pm.
