Participation Rules -- Please read carefully

By entering in and attending the event you are agreeing to abide by the following rules:

Registration, Payment, and Waivers

Preregistration online is required. There will be NO on-site registration.
Prepayment online is required. NO payments will be accepted on-site.
Waivers must be completed online PRIOR to the event.
No paper forms or payments will be accepted on-site.

Equipment

Participants MUST provide their own compass, safety whistle, and e-punch fingerstick.
E-punch fingersticks can be rented during registration and picked up at packet pickup.
Whistles will be available at packet pickup.

Safety

Participants MUST finish within the stated time limits.
Participants MUST report to the finish and download, regardless of whether you completed your course or not.
There will be water stops each day on the courses, but participants are strongly encouraged to also carry water.

Finish

Participants MUST download at the finish.
Participants MUST clear the finish area as soon as they have downloaded and taken their splits printout.

Results

Results will be available by WiFi at the event.
Results will be posted at Live Results during the event.

Mixed Punching

We will be offering mixed punching on all courses and in all classes. Competitors can use traditional contact e-sticks (e-punches), or contactless SIAC e-sticks as they wish. The course controls, including the FINISH control, will be programmed in beacon mode which will allow operation with either e-punch type. The START box will NOT be in beacon mode. Everyone is required to manually punch the START control.

Traditional contact e-punches are available for rent during registration.

Traditional contact e-punches leave a record on the control when it is punched. This can be useful if there is a protest. Be aware that contactless SIAC e-punching leaves NO record on the control.
